SPEAKER: Mark Schulman
TOPIC: “Wither Globalization? Resetting the U.S. Role”

The exponential increase in global trade and the plethora of issues that result – including supply chain issues, shaky strategic reliance on goods from abroad, and technology theft —  have forced nations to put global trade under the microscope. China is a major focus, but not the only one. After a spate of damaging recent tariff wars and withdrawals from multilateral trade agreement, the U.S. must now rethink and reset trade policy.  This presentation will focus on whether globalization is doomed or just needing a rethinking.
