TOPIC: “Adoption in Russia”
Inspired by a couple who had just adopted twins from Russia, a sixty-five year old single French Canadian woman, who immigrated to the United States in the mid 1970’s, embarks on a bold and most challenging adventure to adopt two children from Siberia, a girl thirteen and her brother nine-and-one-half.
From the outset, she had to overcome obstacle after obstacle, but never gave up.

C.C. LeBlanc was born in a small French town in Quebec Province, growing up number two in a family of seven children.
At fifteen, she attended one year of high school in New York State to learn English.
Overtime C.C developed leadership skills by involving herself in her community such as VP of the Chamber of Commerce.
At twenty-two, transferred by Bell Canada, C.C. move to Montreal. At thirty, she was hired by an American medical supply company as sales representative for Eastern Canada.
At sixty-five, C.C. singlehandedly adopted two children from Siberia and at eighty-one she published her first book,“We’re Going Home”, on the adoption of her children.
