The Dine-Out Program gives you the opportunity to share cocktails and dinner three times during the season with a small group of IMCA members and their spouses or guest. Dine Out groups generally range from three to five couples.
How it works: A member volunteers to be a host. The host determines the number of guests (3-5 couples). This year, the host will have three options:
(1) The host provides cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at his home from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Then, the group moves to a 7:00 pm dinner at a nearby restaurant selected by the host. Guests are responsible for the cost of their meals.
(2) The host provides drinks and heavy hors d’oeuvres so that the group stays at the host’s home for the entire evening. In this second option, each person is asked to contribute $20 towards the expense of the evening. That is $40 per couple.
(3) The group meets at a restaurant of the host’s choosing, first for cocktails and then dinner.
Participation: Members signing up for Dine-Outs are encouraged to sign up for all three, including one evening that they offer to host, but that is not required.
Hosting: Each host selected will receive a listing of the guests for his Dine-Out. The host is responsible for confirming attendance and deciding Option 1, 2 or 3.
